About Me

Hi, I'm Emily Hill. As a native Cape Codder, I understand the reality of living and owning a business in an area with a seasonal economy and a high cost of living. With more than 13 years of experience in helping business maintain and understand their finances, I bring an ease of understanding to the table. I have experience creating & maintaining effective bookkeeping systems for real estate and rental businesses, restaurants, yoga studios & massage therapists, retail operations, nonprofits, hotels, manufacturers, fishing vessels, oyster grants, and any number of trades businesses like landscapers, plumbers, contractors, floor installers, and electricians. I provide three core bookkeeping services, each focused on giving
you control and clarity over your finances.

Setups - Starting with a new business or need to move your operations to a better system? We’ll build it right from the ground up. I’ll help you select the right software and create a clean, organized system that is tailored to your specific needs. This service can either include training, or serve as a starting block for monthly maintenance services.
Cleanups - If your books are a mess from past years or you find that AI automations have run amok with your transactions, I’ll systematically clean up past transactions, reconcile accounts and get everything in order. The goal is to establish a solid, accurate foundation that shows your exactly where your business stands, and has you ready for tax season on time.
Regular Maintenance - If you find that you can never quite catch up on all the bookkeeping your business requires and things aren’t getting done, it might be time to invest in regular bookkeeping. Whether you need weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual maintenance, we will setup a system that keeps your books tidy, and I’ll be available to walk you through reports, answer questions, and help you understand how your business taxes and systems work.
